Items and actions

Actions from previous meeting

  • a021 - No further list from MCA – taken what CMAL have received in the past and now have a succinct list of certificates which has been passed to CMAL this morning (Action FMPG).
  • a023 - Actions in the region of 90 which have been addressed. Further meetings on this ongoing. Some unactioned remarks will need to be done before handover, and this remains unchanged. Intent to close off all unactioned remarks before further sea trials unless they cannot be actioned. Current lists’ status will be sent from CMAL to CalMac. This will be ongoing until handover (Action – FMPG / CMAL). 
  • a025 - 22 pallets sitting in warehouse in [REDACTED]. Some Spares still to be procured from [REDACTED] and [REDACTED]  and this is pending. Maximum lead time we have is within 10 weeks which aligns with delivery of vessel. The action is to create a list of Spares, the remainder of the task is to procure and receive Spares (Action – FMPG). 

 

Hot topics

David Tydeman’s NZET appearance and the passenger / vehicle capacity – contract specifications are for UP TO 136 cars and 1000 passengers. The size of the cars will also impact on how many cars will be able to be accommodated. The specifications will need changed. 

NZET letter from CEO, FMPG - not a lot of enquiries on the back of this yet but a more fuller update due with NZET soon. 

Dry Dock - MCA, CalMac etc. due to be on-board the ship to see operational functions.
